Hello, I’m Martin Evans. Originally from the UK, now based in Philadelphia. Across my career I’ve recorded for Tim Renwick, Alex Catchings, Steve Donnelly and Henry Louris, played on productions by Ruslan Sirota and Stephen Paul, and shared sessions with Phil Keaggy, Iain Hornal, Mike Waldron and others.

Rock and pop is home, played in the pocket with restraint over flash, the part that serves the song rather than the one that shows off. That sensibility carries out to Americana and indie, and through to hard rock, prog, and the darker post-punk and gothic end.

You get edited, comped MIDI plus multitrack audio, tempo-mapped and pulled from industry-standard and boutique libraries, so you can run with my kits or load your own. Turnaround is within two days, revisions included. Light hand percussion on request, and happy to quote custom rates for albums or multi-song work.
