Remote Session Drummer | MIDI Drums/Programmed Drums for $125

Hi, my name is Mart Evans. I’ve been a drummer for 40 years now, and have spent the last five years doing remote session work out of my space in Philly. I specialize in live MIDI drum tracks for artists, bands, and producers who want the feel of a real drummer with the flexibility of MIDI.

I consider myself a song drummer, putting the music’s needs above everything else. I specialize in rock and pop, but I’m comfortable with anything from Americana and singer-songwriter to hard rock, prog, and the darker end of post-punk and gothic rock.

I’ve recorded with artists such as Alex Catchings, Henry Louris, Celtic World Orchestra (ft. Iain Hornal), Gary DeMichele, Tim Renwick (Pink Floyd, Eric Clapton), and Steve Donnelly (Sheryl Crow, Nick Lowe), amongst many others.

You’ll get the MIDI file to trigger your own samples, plus multitrack audio, delivered either mix-ready or completely raw. For audio, I work mainly with Superior Drummer 3 and its expansions, but I also have a curated library of drum VSTs, including GGD, Steven Slate, and many others.

Turnaround is within three days. Three revisions are included. Album/EP pricing is available as well as rush delivery.

Thanks for stopping by. Have a listen to my work, and if you think I’d suit your music, drop me a message. I’d love to hear what you’re working on.

Please note: I do not work on AI-generated music.
